A Fundraiser to Help Build a Children’s Hospital

LOS GATOS, California

Linda Durnell, owner of Linda Durnell Gallery of Los Gatos announces the 2005 Silicon Valley Children's Hospital Art Auction fundraiser being held at the Linda Durnell Gallery on Friday, September 30th. They will be silently auctioning original art from emerging and mid career artists from California, New York and Europe. A significant portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Silicon Valley Children's Hospital and their efforts to build a children's hospital in San Jose. Since 1999, the Silicon Valley Children's Hospital Foundation has been working tirelessly to bring a children's hospital to San Jose, as San Jose is the largest city in the United States without its own children's hospital. They have announced the Silicon Valley Children's Hospital Foundation is in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the new children's hospital will be located in southern Santa Clara County.
