Touch My HeART 2006 - Hail Britannia! 6-10 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2006 The Opera House of Los Gatos Featuring: Fine wine, gourmet food, The BBC (the look-alike Beatles tribute band), an auction of hand-painted Art Cat sculptures by award-winning artists, Portrait of London to be auctioned by Thomas Kinkade, AND an opportunity for a trip for two to merry olde England! Make plans now to celebrate Valentine's Day at this glittering Brit-inspired gala and see The Opera House of Los Gatos transformed into a real, live English wonderland! Ticket reservations are available now for the February 12, 2006, event. Touch My HeART is a premiere, annual event in Silicon Valley, and marks the launch of the arts season in Los Gatos. Proceeds from the fourth annual event - Touch My HeART 2006 - Hail Britannia! - will benefit the Art and History Museums of Los Gatos. This is the largest annual fundraiser for the museums and, due to occupancy regulations at The Opera House, only 400 tickets will be sold to this year's gala. As Sandy Decker, former Los Gatos mayor and TMH 2006 event chair, has put it: "A town without history and art has no heart. This is a community with a heart that prides itself on being a cultural destination. Touch My HeART helps the town of Los Gatos celebrate its past and its future. We need everyone's support. We offer you an evening like no other, and we hope to see you there!" 2005 Events Touch My heART 2005 Valentine Gala for The Museums of Los Gatos 6-10 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13th at Testarossa Vineyards in Los Gatos Can't think of anything exciting for your Valentine? Have we got an event for you! Make plans now to celebrate Valentine's Day at a glittering gala with sinfully delicious food at the award-winning Testarossa Vineyards in Los Gatos. Tickets are available now for the February 13th event. Besides gourmet food and tantalizing vino, the romantic, Italian-themed evening will feature an auction of original local artworks, and a chance for travel for two to Florence, Italy! And that's not all! Join Romeo and Juliet on the balcony, as well as singing sensation Jimmy Cremona doing classic Sinatra, and operatic soloist Alexandra Mena performing Italian arias, all in one evening, from 6-10 p.m. February 13th, at Testarossa Vineyards. "Magnifico!" is how Marilyn Dorsa, a local artist, philanthropist and businesswoman, described the annual event. "Los Gatos is such a special town, and events like Touch My heART just add to its magnetism," she said. "Touch My heART 2005" is sponsored by The Toll House Hotel and Three Degrees Restaurant, as well as the Business of Beauty in Los Gatos, including Dr. Melody Lynd and Dr. Matthew Mingrone, The Spa of Los Gatos and Aesthetics, The Sanctuary at Courtside Club, Yvettes Institute de Beaute, and Priorities and Les Chattes salons.
